About Wayne Bardsley:

-Graduated from Dartmouth in 1970 with degree in Economics and from Boston University School of Law in 1973.

 

-Staff attorney with U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 1973 to 1977.

 

-Assistant Counsel with the Investment Company Institute, the trade association of the mutual fund industry, from 1977 to 1979.

 

-General Counsel and then Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Calvert Group of Mutual Funds from 1979 to 1987. First tasted the heady pleasure of being an “owner-employee”.

 

-President of Newmarket Capital Corporation, a Virginia-based mortgage banker, from 1987 to 1994.

 

-Founder and President of Government Scientific Source, Inc., a distributor of scientific equipment and supplies, from 1991 to present.

GSS is a distributor of scientific equipment and supplies, from 1991 to present. Government Scientific specializes in the government laboratory marketplace and is the largest dedicated distributor of analytical equipment and supplies to that marketplace. Government Scientific’s administrative offices and principal warehouse are located in a 40,000 square foot facility in Reston, Virginia. Sales revenues were $75 million in 2007 and are anticipated to be $90-$100 million in 2008.
