Intern for a startup
Not a founder? That's okay! Gain valuable experience with a startup internship
The purpose of the Wily Initiatives Fund is to provide up to $4,500 in financial assistance for unpaid internships that enable undergraduates to gain exposure and work experience at a technology-based startup during summer breaks or terms away from campus. All startups, formed within the last three (3) years or with an annual revenue less than $1M (US), are eligible for consideration. However, Dartmouth-founded companies will be assigned preference. Any full-time undergraduate in good academic and discplinary standing is eligible to apply. Applicants must be returning to campus for at least one term post internship.
Spring Term 2017 Applications for Spring term 2017 internships are due by 11:59 am (noon) 24 April 2017. Applications in progress or late applications will not be accepted.
Please only one company or internship per application. Funds are distributed as 50% upon award and 50% upon completion of internship and submission of required follow-up items (#4 on last page).
A maximum of two internships per startup will be awarded and funding will be split between recipients.
Recipients must attend a pre-departure meeting on 16 May 8:00-9:00am.
