Company Overview
Avedro, Inc. was incorporated in the fall of 2002. Advedro has patented a thermal technique for reshaping the cornea. This technique is fundamentally different from existing refractive surgery procedures in that it is totally non-incisive. The company believes that its technique will provide patients suffering from myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness) and astigmatism with a safe and lower cost alternative to existing laser-based procedures.
